Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year — Free demo ahead of Steam Next Fest - Lobstudio - 10-15-2026
Hi everyone! I’m Komatsudani from Lobstudio.
Zombie Police: Midsummer Unhappy New Year will be taking part in Steam Next Fest (October 19–26, 2026), and our free Chapter 0 demo is available now.
It’s a comedy-mystery visual novel about zombie detective Akemi Kabane and her human partner, Yasu Tamura. A VTuber’s livestream captures a tragedy in a village mysteriously frozen in midsummer.
Akemi’s Zombie Dive lets you uncover hidden thoughts in people and secrets in objects. Gather testimony and keywords, then connect the clues in Tamura’s Journal to work out what happened. Expect unconventional investigations and plenty of banter between the two detectives.
The demo introduces the duo and the investigation system. No previous experience with the series is needed.
