It is Dave Dude AKA Dave Dude in Holiday Story 95 (32 bit)!
It's not very good, but it has a certain unpolished charm. The controls are sub-par and probably the game's biggest weakness.

Hey bravo my friend, found it on the first picture! This is actually the first remake released for the super famicom exclusively in Japan via the power cartridge service in 1998 (the scene is from a fan tranlation), the original is for the famicom disk systen in 1989 and the newest for the Switch in 2021. But close enough! One of my favorite games, I replayed multiple times. Your turn!

I have the Switch remakes on my backlog. Played a bit of The Smiling Man but haven't come back to it yet.
I suspect this will be easy by the standards of this forum but I haven't seen it here so here ya go.
