I got Grim Fantago, Broken Sword 5, Touche: The adventures of the 5th Musketeer and Whirlight: No time to trip in parallel.

Grim Fantago is a bit boring...I've been meaning to play it for 25 years now and it's a disappointment
BS5 is really exciting. The graphics are not my favourite but the developing story and characters are realistic and engaging.
Whirlight is still at the beginning. It has the best graphics I've seen in an adventure game. I'm in awe. However, for the time being it's not an exciting or engaging story...we'll see where it goes
Touche is also a game I've been meaning to play for 30 years and so far it is really amazing. Wonderful graphics, amazing humour, good voice acting and a mystery that gets you going right off the bat.

Grim Fandango is one of the best in my opinion. You should give some time to get into the story. Difficult puzzles, but great characters, story and environments.

Hey friends, its Halloween and I enjoyed a couple of Horror flavored games lately.

Recently I played Camp Whittlewood a campy top down spooky game which had some lovely pixel art cutscenes. Its a short play with multiple endings that you can approach in your convenience, depending on how you want to be challenged

Also played Deadeus a supernatural story-centric modern Game Boy game, I was pleasantly surprised with this one. Its a 3 day cycle story that you can finish in 30 seconds (no kidding) or even 3 hours, Without spoiling too much although there are not any "traditional puzzles" in this the choices that you make and "when" you make them is a challenge and a puzzle on its own and it's world and characters is more intricate than it first seems.I found its structure to be pleasantly experimental leading to a possible 11 endings without a True one. Actually the hardest ending may be the most unpleasant one, but the story, pace and lore was so interesting that I hunted quite a few of the endings, something that i admit I usually don't have the patience to do. Bare in mind that this game may deceively hide some gruesome pixel horror scenes and themes behind its cute gameboy low res and color graphics, so beware

Also played 96 Mill. I was reminded of this game by BobVP in the game scene thread and I figured it was a good time to finally finish it. It is an easy first person adventure that you explore a very large building complex as a blow up technitian. Exploration can be a bit overwhelming at first to remember what is where, but the map helps. There are only inventory puzzles here, no pixel hunting and some optional objective and variable endings you can easily try without wasting time. (though I couldn't understand what to do with the quitar pick and the brick BobVP, please tell me if you found out). I liked the graphics in the slideshow photograph style and it has some ultra cheesy very light jumpscares which were entertaining

Now I am enjoying Super Chillers:The Chat Room a traditional 3rd person point and click adventure. Its very nice so far and takes inspiration from the Scream movies that I love

Happy Halloween everybody!
