A dedicated subforum - Joe - 09-26-2025 Can we have a dedicated subforum for discussions about one specific game? Like: Games Discussion > Adventure Games > Specific Titles Or Games Discussion > - Adventure Games General - Adventure Games Specific - Other Games - Collector's Corner RE: A dedicated subforum - Jackal - 09-26-2025 We certainly could, but I'm not really seeing the benefit. In my experience specific game discussions have always fit nicely in with broader genre threads. Is there a particular reason you think they're better separated? RE: A dedicated subforum - Joe - 09-26-2025 There are only five subforums right now, so creating more wouldn't hurt. Other than that, it's just to keep things "clean." Have one for general discussion and one for specific games. I could be wrong, but I think having those kinds of threads in one place with topic names like [game's name] would make them easier to find than if they were buried among many more generic threads. And actual discussions about specific games would be broken into too many threads with names like "So I've played this game" or "Is this the best game this year?" However, if you think having all the threads in one place is the way to go, that's fine. I just like to have things more organized so I can more easily search for what I'm actually looking for. RE: A dedicated subforum - Joshua AGH - 09-27-2025 It's certainly a see what's best situation. Its easy for us to say that all will be contained when the forums have a dozen threads. If it gets overwhelming we may have to have to follow your advice. |
