Podcast for Mystery Manor Games - Ghostlady - 11-12-2025 I got to do a podcast, first time ever! We talk about creating games and my two games that are now on Steam, Intrigue At Oakhaven and Haunting At Cliffhouse. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/yFz3kADraik?si=Gdl3ecCckk_WO8Ub RE: Podcast for Mystery Manor Games - Legerdemancy - 11-12-2025 I find it interesting that in the podcast you mentioned you were a computer programmer, but didn't play PC games until the late 90's. Was there a specific reason for avoiding them until then? 2nd question, did being a programmer make it easier developing your computer games? Also you were very brave to do a video podcast! I would probably be too nervous for that. RE: Podcast for Mystery Manor Games - Ghostlady - 11-12-2025 I had no interest in PC games until I was introduced to Phantasmagoria. Go figure. My daughter was interested though and games were $60 and up and she had to take her PC in to have it quirked for each game she played, which you also had to pay for. I really didn't want to spend money on games. Being a computer programmer definitely made it easier to develop computer games. You understand the logic. I was very brave, and I was very nervous to do a podcast, especially at my age. Now that I have that under my belt it will be much better going forward. |
