Toonstruck turns 30 this year, and it's been on my mind a lot lately.
For a game with Christopher Lloyd, Tim Curry and Dan Castellaneta in the cast, and animation work that still holds up today, it's strange how rarely it comes up in conversations about the great nineties point & clicks.
Curious what people here remember. Did you finish it back in the day? Did the second half land for you, or did the difficulty spike kill the momentum? And does anyone still hold out hope for the unreleased sequel material the fan community has been chasing for years?
I put together an in-depth video on it recently digging into the production story too, in case anyone wants to go down that rabbit hole afterwards — but mostly I'd love to hear what you remember.

I played it for the first time several years ago as part of a community playthrough at the now-defunct AG site. It was wacky and great fun despite some hair pullers. I'll probably replay it at some point.

Same here. I played it about two years ago. It was really fun and rather difficult. Shame about the sequel.

I played it back in the day and don’t remember anything about it. It is filed in the “was fun” area of my brain, though.

One of my best Christmas memories are associated with this game.
When I heard that there was an adventure game starring Christopher Lloyd, I knew I just have to have it.
Got it a couple of years after it was released, waited for Christmas holidays and invited my friends, who were also into adventure games, to play it with me.
Still have the game's box.

Yeah, it's definitely one of the greats. I found it packed with a few too many puzzles (with some having to be in a certain order for no good reason), but the carecrow and the naughty cows will live rent-free in my head forever.
