Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a rather unusual problem with Black Mirror 1 (Steam version).

A long time ago I installed a complete savegame pack to get past the star puzzle. Ever since then, all those chapter saves have been permanently stuck in my game — they reappear after every reinstall, on every hard drive, no matter what I do.

After extensive debugging with Process Monitor, I finally found the cause: the saves are embedded directly in data.adb. The engine reads this file on startup and reconstructs the save slots from it every single time. Steam's file verification doesn't help because it considers the file valid.

I would really appreciate it if someone with a clean, unmodified Steam installation of Black Mirror 1 could share their data.adb file with me. The file should be around 2.1 MB and located in the game's main folder:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Black Mirror\data.adb

If you're willing to help, please either upload it here or send me a private message. Thank you so much!

Hi everybody,

I know, i know... I'm new here.
Just wanted to drop in saying I'm releasing Solis May 29 on Steam. A game I've worked on for years.

Wishlist now on Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/3382310/Solis/

Solis is a narrative driven hand drawn side scrolling adventure. I know, a mouthful.
It's also a breeze, you can finish it in an evening.

Some info:

The city of Solis never sleeps — and tonight, neither will you. Elixer, the company you've dedicated yourself to, has gathered its people for an end-of-year celebration with a staggering promise at its heart: eternal life. But as the night wears on, the curtain slowly pulls back — and what lies behind it will change everything.
Solis is yours to explore at your own pace. Wander its streets, ride the metro across the city, investigate your surroundings, and speak with the inhabitants and colleagues you meet along the way. Every corner holds a clue. Every conversation shapes your understanding of the world around you.
Nothing you do goes unnoticed. Decisions carry weight, rippling forward into the events that follow. Through a fluid, story-driven dialogue system powered by Ink, your choices feel natural — and their consequences, real.

Release date: May 29 (PC | MAC | Linux)

Demo (PC) Available

Would love to hear what you think!
