You'll never convince me that Domhnall Gleeson is NOT the guy to play George:
Good actor, the right looks (with a little blonde dye) and body type, and just the sort of innate "everyman" likeability that is needed for George, which you wouldn't get with more of a classical "movie star."
A Broken Sword movie wouldn't be a big budget production production anyway, so Gleeson is exactly the sort of actor you probably COULD get for the role.
As a bonus, if he took it, we might actually learn how to pronounce his name.

I'd love to see Broken Sword made into a game depending on how well the characters were portrayed. I had a few ideas about who could play George Stobbart but Domhnall Gleeson seems to be perfect! But George does have a distinctive voice though.....
As for pronunciation of his name ....it's Irish so it probably won't relate to any of the letters you see!

Why all of the suggestions for older actors! Danny Trejo is 82, Owen Wilson is 57 (& has the wrong nose anyway although I don't mind seeing him in any film!) & Audrey Tatou is too old at age 49 to play Nico! Domhnall is 43 but does look the part for George.
