Eek! The only game in any of those categories that I’ve even tried is Blue Prince, and then I got sidetracked. Which reminds me, ima have to take it up again. But it’s on my computer and I kinda hate my computer. I wish all games were on iPad! I’ll be curious what y’all think is the game of the year.

It's interesting to compare what the AGH staff and the readers think.
Definitely not this year. Perhaps in future, though it would have to be in a more limited form than the Aggies. Reader awards are a boatload more work on top of an already demanding project.
In the meantime, here's a great place to discuss people's own impressions. Any guesses to our winners? Or how about your own personal favourites? It was such a great year for adventures. Here are the categories:
Best Story
Best Setting
Best Graphics
Best Music
Best Acting (voice or live-action)
Best New Character
Best Concept
Best Gameplay
Best Comedy
Best Fantasy
Best Horror
Best Mystery
Best Sci-Fi
Best Modern Adventure
Best Traditional Adventure
Best Adventure of 2025

Well, last year had quite a number of strong releases.
Pretty much all the games I would like to be nominated are in the final nominees list.
Good to see some appreciation for Neyyah, Brassheart and Wildwood Down too.
The question is if other games will get any awards or it will be a landslide for The Drifter and Foolish Mortals.

I feel like we're too few "readers" at the moment, so I definitively think it's the right choice to have this being driven by a jury lol. I'm behind on my adventure game playing, so it's pretty much only Foolish Mortals and Kathy Rain 2 for me by default.

Of course awards are decided by jury, readers' choice awards are an addendum.
From what I understand not all members of Adventure Gamers forum played all the eligible games, didn't stop them from voting though :-)
