Yesterday, in the adventure game scene thread, I posted a couple of pictures which were substituted by alternative ones from my Imgur library. I straight away assumed this involved 'foul play' & completely apologise for any unfounded accusations. But, I really don't understand how posting a code from Imgur can result in an image with a completely different code?.......help!

Very weird, and far beyond us non-techies to easily figure out. Did it only happen the once, or does it always happen with Imgur?

Hi Jackal, I've been with Imgur for years & it has only happened twice when the wrong picture has appeared here in the Adventure Game Scene thread. - the other 3 or 4 pictures I posted have been fine. Having got over the annoyance of it & giving it some thought it seems most likely that the glitch originated from Imgur, rather than anything to do with this forum, as I understand they were taken over by another company earlier this year & have upgraded their site - also I understand they've had an exodus of staff. I know I can attach pics directly here but if it happens again with Imgur I will just concede to the answer! Thankyou for responding though.
