For me it was Vampire Bloodlines 2.  I'm already deep into it and loving it.  Not a perfect game, but enjoying the excellent voice acting and the plot.  Just running around doing lots of side quests.  My character Fyre was woken from torpor after a century by an unfortunate vampire who she consumed.  Fabien now lives inside my head and is a very interesting companion!

After this week's podcast, top of my list is Foolish Mortals! This seems like it's made by someone who truly loves and appreciate what made games great in the golden age...pre-ordered the big box edition immediately after listening...
