Hey, Joe. The hidden text is a known bug, thanks. We also know about the thread deletion issue. I'm not entirely sure that's a bug and not a baked-in feature of the forum software, but we'll definitely be looking into it.
Just to confirm, had anyone responded to your thread when you tried deleting it? It's possible there could be different rules for threads with and without responses.
