I asked Gemini to search for games set in Latin America, and it returned the following result: "Mictlan: An Ancient Mythical Tale (Release date TBD)

Setting: 16th-century Mexico (during the Spanish conquest).

Realism factor: Extremely ambitious. This action-adventure game is eagerly anticipated by many fans of the culture. It aims for unprecedented historical accuracy. The developers are working closely with historians and indigenous communities. The game will be fully voiced in Nahuatl and Maya (the actual languages of the time) and explores Mesoamerican mythology and society." It’s not listed on Steam—does anyone know anything about this game?

The setting is pretty cool. I usually prefer more realistic open-world games than fully-fledged fantasy worlds. Still, I can't help but wonder how they will combine the historical accuracy with the fantasy element - the description says: "Explore a vast open-world, learn how to survive the journey across Mictlan, the Valley of the Death, while ancient Mesoamerican gods meddle with your fate."

Interesting nonetheless. I'll be keeping an eye on this. Thanks!
