Quick pop quiz: what was the last version of Windows that included sndrec32.exe?

Seriously though, this may take me a while.

Playing the file faster or slower in VLC doesn't help, which means I have to install Audacity (and finally learn how to use it).

BTW, it would have been smart to hide password in .mp3 ID3 tag's 'Attached picture' frame or in the spectrogram of the audio message.

I'm still on board! Even though I've had to rely on help for 8 and 9.

Probably going to rely on kamineko for this one as well. -_-

Good to see that you're still onboard Bob Smile

There is a difference between playback speed and tempo.
I've used audacity. It basically require 2 clicks and one slider to do this.

You are so right about this.

In VLC the feature is called "playback speed" but it seems that in case of audio it only changes tempo, while Audacity lets you change what you want.

Still one need a trained ear to notice when it starts to sound like normal speech and what with my near tone-deafness, I am so bad at this. At 800% speed I can hear two words but not sure what they are :'(

Update: OK, they got me ;-)

Back to basics. No googling or IT skills.
That said, I was stuck on this level for an embarrassingly long time.
A classic case of overthinking.

The difficulty of the previous level leads us to believe that this one is just as difficult, whereas in reality it's not Smile

..which is why I solved it without relying on either of you!

I'll be honest, I zoned in an out of this game for a while. But I'm back on track, ready to ruin the third dimension.

That's great! Big Grin
It does look like I'm the only one who got stuck on this easy level for a while. Wink
Anyway, feel free to post the next level if you want.

I think you're operating on another level in the puzzle department. Let's see how that works out for you on this one:

Another search bar. Two images. Three dimensions?

This one is relatively easy as well. I think there might be some misdirection going on.
