Yeah, that game brings back so many good memories for me. I love all the KQ games, especially 3, but I think for nostalgic reasons 5 is my favorite.
I was asking for the forum member, not the game, and you got that first --so go ahead if you want it.
Pfft, only my favorite game not featuring Laverne but yes featuring Maid Marian.
Indeed, one of my favorite things about the game is the writing. Gabriel Knight seems to garner all the accolades for great writing in an adventure game from that era, but I think Conquests of the Longbow is on another level even than GK.
Speaking of writing, I once again don't have time to post a screenshot, so let's see if you can figure out what game this is from these descriptions you get when you hover over stuff in one screen in this game. If no one gets it, I'll keep adding descriptions from different screens.
"A fat man pointing at a family tree."
"A couple of chumps conspiring in the background."
"A confused baby in the arms of a hag."
"A tall lawyer blatantly attempting to steal a dead woman's ring."
"A very sober looking pianist playing a rather drunken rendition of Enrique Granados 12 Spanish Dances."
I think that last one will be a giveaway for anyone who has played this game.
