The thread's been having an identity crisis, but its good to know you're still up for posting scenes in earnest. I wasn't sure if we should read kamineko's postas a succesful identification. It think giving the answer after this reveal felt kind of awkward. And personally I wasn't sure you intended to keep things going!

(my post was an in-joke, I feel a little bad about it, knowing you were left wondering whether to keep things going)

Since Guyra still seems up for it - you could post another picture? I think we're all willing to accept the next guess will be based on information openly/intentionally given.

Apologies for any misunderstanding.

My post was just to notify Beau that he might have inadvertently revealed the game's name.

As Guyra suggested, I was thinking Beau would just post a new screenshot from a different game.

To be clear, that's not me and Bob in the picture

Ahhhh... the title is right on the tip of my tongue... it was a submarine game in the mid 90's. I can picture the box...

Hilariously poor marketing on said box:

"a techno-thriller penned by Chuck Pfarrer, writer of hit action films Navy Seals, Virus, and Jackal."

Is that Silent Steel?

Indeed! Your turn King Slime

That's it! Silent Steel! Thanks, Baron, that was driving me nuts. I could picture it on the shelf in the software store
