I used to collect them, but then I got married and had kids and they all just sat in a box. So between that and also not having a device that can play those old floppies, I sold them all.
Turn of the century was a fun time to look for steals. Found a pristine copy of Manhunter at a thrift store for fifty cents.

I collect physical copies of video games, exclusively for home consoles and handhelds, and not really for PC. But I collect across, maybe 20 or so consoles, depending on how you count it. I would collect PC games but the older ones are so finicky about what configuration they want to run, and the big box style, while very cool, takes up too much space when you multiply it times hundreds. I especially like to collect any adventure games on console, such as Zack and Wiki Quest for Barbaros' Treasure, or Shadow of Destiny/Shadow of Memories, and even ports like Syberia on xbox, Broken Sword on Wii, and recently limited run games has released several PS4 versions of classic adventure games like DotT, Sam and Max, and Fullthrottle. Sometimes I play Blazing Dragons on ps1, or Discworld on Sega Saturn etc.
I also collect books, usually classic American/British literature and science fiction.

Two PQ1 boxes...:
Two of more than one thing but who's counting?

I like the Mario plushes!

(But dayyum, that's an impressive game collection.)
Sort of related, maybe? I like collecting old consoles (please excuse the cat obscuring the Sega consoles (Megadrive/Saturn/Dreamcast) only photo I could find.)
Do have some 8bit computers too, Spectrum 48k rubber key and a C64 bread bin. C64 needs a psu, and the Speccy needs some work due to someone plugging in the wrong psu
Would like an Amiga at some point as well but those are out of my price range these days. BBC Micro and a MSX HX-10 are on my one day list too.
Emulators are great these days would 100% recommend it over this, but there is just something good about physical machines. Also a bit the history of gaming about it, I dunno.
Do need to pick up some of the better AGs for these consoles, Broken Sword 1/Discworld on the PS1 and maybe Shadowrun for the SNES.

Speccy 48k was my first computer.
I miss it. (although I have them on emulation)
Not the OG hardware but there is an Amiga 500 mini and a Rubber keyed speccy.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.
