I used to have the hint guides for Quest for Glory IV and Kings Quest VII. My parents only got those because the games had bugs that wouldn't allow us to continue, and my parents naively assumed that we were doing something wrong.
I loved all the behind the scenes info in the hint guides.

Newest addition to the collection is Phantasmagoria 2 from Prima. I love that it still has the original HMV sticker on it:
Mine, too, Zobraks! Even the guide is funny, especially the biographies of the bots.
Life: Adventures guaranteed. Instructions not included.
LHG - When my mother died my father sent me all of her games which included a few guides (posts of those incoming) one of which was the Journeyman on your wishlist:
I'm quite happy to send this to you if you can let me have an address (I'm assuming that we can PM here although I haven't checked) and I'll post it out to you. No charge as by the time we've sorted out exchange rates and bank charges it wouldn't be worth the time and effort involved.
As above these are two of the guides sent to me by my father. The Encyclopedia Probozzica one I had to look up as to what it referred to and it was, originally, an unofficial one for the early Zork games but Activision asked to use it for Return To Zork. As it's too large to fit into a boxed version of the game I can only assume that it was sold separately. My copy is the Abridged 2nd Edition 966 GUE from 1993.

You are probably correct Eirik, the only problem I have is with the size. It measures 19cm wide and 24cm high and that would never fit into a big box unless Activision created a much larger box for it. I never bought Return To Zork and, in fact, neither did my mother. She bought the Zork Legacy Collection which included Return. Can't ask her as she died many a long year ago but. let's face it, it's not exactly something to be concerned about

That's incredibly kind of you, thank you. I will send you a PM.
