Really excited to have a vibrant board on this great site -- there's something about adventure gamers that always seems to create nice communities.
So nice to see a new adventure game forum pop up like this around such a good site! I never hung around the Adventure Gamers forum, but I did spend quite some time on the the Adventure Game Studio forums about 20 years ago... (and still skulk around there now and then, even though they aren't quite as busy as they used to be...)

Welcome, welcome, welcome one and all! So great to see both familiar AND new names here. We really weren't sure how much of an appetite there'd be for a good-old-fashioned forum, but we like 'em and hoped you would too.
Wonderful to have everyone here, and we hope this is just the start of something special.
By the way, in case anyone has missed our earlier calls for help, we are NOT programmers and aren't particularly experienced with forum software, so we're reliant on outside assistance for technical support. We've been so fortunate to have some amazing people on board (Jonas, Tyler and others, you rule!) but if anyone seeing this is a whiz with programming and/or MyBB code and would be willing to help us out (or knows someone who could be blackmailed threatened coerced talked into helping us out, please let us know! We could sure use the extra hands and smarter right brains than ours.

Thank you for setting up an old-school forum for us adventure game enthusiasts! There is just an intuitive directness in communicating via forums as opposed to centralised social media. The absence of followers, repetitive reposts, character limits, etc. is very refreshing.
I know it's only early days, but I'm optimistic about the AGH forum becoming a tight-knit community and growing exponentially from here onwards. Looking forward to many stimulating conversations with like-minded people... and three-headed monkeys if they feel like it.
