I’ve watched through all of the trailer, thanks for linking to it. The background details look very good for the efforts of an independent two-person team. For instance, I really like the sunlight rays beaming through the pub’s window during the daytime scene.
I’ve included timestamps to my favourite parts, as I personally consider those to be the strongest elements of the game based solely on the trailer.
High resolution close-up of the captain hologram at 38 seconds looks fantastic! This is further enhanced by the nice addition of the wavering effect:

Literally everything looks great in the spaceship scene at the 2:06 mark. The blue, black and burgundy hues look great with the outer space backdrop.
Smart decision having the ‘Big Bad’ draped in shadows to keeps things mysterious until the big reveal later on in the game. It reminds me of the old SNES manual for the 1st Donkey Kong Country game doing that with the villain King K. Rool.

The only objective feedback I can offer is that I found it slightly irritating at the 18 second mark when the protagonist R. Sole laughs with no sound coming out of his mouth. The animation felt a bit unnatural because of that. Though, your mileage may vary with that interpretation. (Probably because we use the correct system of kilometres here in Australia).

Any future plans for a GOG release?
By the way, Lee & Ryan, best of luck with the game development!

Thanks for the feedback Legerdemancy!
We really appreciate you taking time to reply.
I understand what you mean about the laugh, however as a new tiny studio, with a budget of 63p and half a packet of jelly babies, we had to make the decision to leave R.Sole's first adventure text only. I suppose we could still add a laugh sound but then we thought we might be seen as promising a voice-over that currently doesn't exist. Worth considering though.
We are exploring different platforms for release, with GOG firmly in our crosshairs, and hopefully will have more to announce when we have permission off our better halves to spend more of our housekeeping budgets on 'silly games development'.
As for kilometres... well the UK has technically fully converted to the metric system, however, 'miles' along with dreams of fallen empires, warm beer, Gardener's Question Time and football violence, seem to be things the nation is struggling to let go of.
Thanks again!

Haunted 'slide show' at the old farm - Gameplay from Ghost Lantern https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmjvpsdQYUM
Soon to gain three more cover images, with Silent Night appearing from the blizzard, Ghost Lantern about to illuminate an old ghost story (very M.R.James experience, wordy fans) and Lammana, which will likely ship as a hardcopy book with the game. I have had a big recent success with my book ‘Haunted Harbour’, so am encouraged to write more, with a particular interest in creating game tie-ins. The very niche interest in Lammana allows me to approach it as a real-world piece of entertainment as well as the game itself. Those who are interested in Lammana will love it. It’ll be a very Cornish release, sometime when I have more time. Our eyes are on more Crown gaming, as we’re dead excited about our little CrownFest next Beltane (May 1st), when we’ll be turning Polperro (Saxton) into a Crown themed ‘escape room’. https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=8060...2667880095
