Im a good 6 hours into the drifter and i cant remember the last time i played a game that induced this much anxiety. Its like a gauntlet of anxiety sometimes, one after the next. Im impressed with myself that i havent looked up any solutions yet, not because the difficulty is really high, but some of the repetition with timed events can be grating and tries my patience. Still, its been quite an excellent piece of storytelling so far.
Apparently I've got to play this Drifter game!
A good two hours of playing Kathy Rain 2: I'm alright with this. The environments look great. The characters fall flat for me, to say the least - maybe this will improve. The first couple of puzzles are pretty good.
I love this dressing table.

I have just finished playing Templum de Malum. It was pretty solid, not too long, and challenging at times.
There's a weird torch mechanic where you need to collect torches because your torch gives less and less light over time, and if it runs out completely, it's game over.
But the pixel art is truly exceptional.

I bought Blue Prince under the impression it was more of an adventure game but actually it's a tile-based puzzler. Not sure how I feel about it so far - I don't like the graphics or the control system (on computer - I imagine it works better with a controller) and, well.. let's see.

I just finished playing Röki. At first I thought it would be some kind of puzzle platformer but instead it's a legit adventure game, with tons of exploration and inventory puzzles. It was very fun and beautiful. Recommended!
Have a great holiday everyone!

You know what type of games I like. But in this case, the challenge mostly comes from pixel hunting, since there are no show hotspot options, and the fading light from the torch makes everything more difficult to see.
Just started Love Me Or Die. To call it rough around the edges would be to call my grandmothers legs 'a tad bristly': A drastic understatement. But there's enough there that, after 45 minutes of play, I'm going to keep going and see what happens.

Update: I played Blue Prince for about 90 minutes and its 100%-score garnering appeal totally failed to reveal itself to me. Man, it's dull. Fortunately I got a refund from Steam because I was able to lodge a complaint about the awkward control system using a laptop trackpad. #relieved_movingon

I bought Blue Prince a while ago and didn’t get very far due to real life. I will definitely go back to it soon. It seemed to me to be more of a giant intricate puzzle than an adventure game, but I like giant intricate puzzles.
Right now I am just about done with Dad’s Monster House 2 on my iPad.
