Plague Of The Moon!

I remember you posting this on the old forum (and your strong dislike, which made me laugh). Never played it, took your word for it. But I recognize it instantly.

Just beat me to it Bob Smile . I remember playing it when i found it in a compilation with a lot of adventures. I think I never finished it, I don't remember. I found it very amateur, I think it was a shareware title

You got it Bob, but you must have confused my dislike between this game and a different game (maybe that Daedalic environmentalist one where the guy has to fix his generator before agreeing to save the world?). This one I remember playing as a kid, never getting very far. It was on a lot of those "600 Games On One CD-Rom!" shareware/demo/bootleg compilation discs you'd get at office supply stores or via mail-order for $5. Or femail order sometimes, if it was my mom or Iron Man who sent away for it.

Ha! Well at least the recollection is partially correct - memories of the past five years a are salvage job.

I just got a notification from Steam that he just started playing Face Noir, so I'm pretty sure you're right. He's my only Steam friend, so I haven't bothered turning those notifications off.
