So far, it looks like everyone is having fun. That's great, let's just hope it stays that way after you encounter the next set of puzzles.

From now on, I'll add a spoiler warning to the screenshots. I won't reveal anything in the screenshots (they will be the first thing you see when you enter the painting) or in the comments. However, if you consider the screenshots themselves to be spoilers and want to experience them for the first time yourself, just scroll down quickly until you see the end of the spoiler warning.

[SPOILER WARNING]

Welcome to the jungle! Unfortunately, there are no Guns N' Roses songs here (probably due to copyright issues). Instead, we have a rather generic jungle song. Combined with the rather unremarkable jungle painting, this makes it my least favourite screen.
I think it's a wasted opportunity not to have a cave painting or something similar.
BTW, is it just me or does the tiger look strange?

[END OF THE SPOILER]

To those stuck on the resin: There's another way! Did you get past the tiger yet? Mind where you walk, change your state of mind, it'll make more sense.

I'm trying to get into the temple right now. I think I get the different parts of the puzzle, but I'm trying to figure out how to make them count.

It looks like someone is ahead of schedule. That's great, I don't want to be the one to give the hints.
But please refrain from giving hints unless asked, or at least put a spoiler warning.

That sounds around where I've got to so far. I've triggered a few dialogue lines while trying to figure it out so I think I'm on the right track.

I figured out the resin and made more progress! It sounds like I'm also at the same point as BobVP and ClusterLizard.

Hi, I'm z10, one of the devs. I'm quite surprised but also happy to see our game in a community playthrough. To me it's interesting to read everyone's impressions about the paintings and so on. This was the only game where all members of the Argonauts team contributed at least 1 background to the game.
Music is always hurriedly collected among various free choices. We don't have a dedicated sound/music person Big Grin. I think this title is both our hardest and also our longest one.

I hope you'll have fun with it.

Hi, which scene was yours?
By the way, I sent a message to Hexenwerk earlier. Did she send you here? Wink

I played a little bit more and got past the part I was at, although I've still to get into the temple (assuming that's actually what happens given how unusual things get from scene to scene). Solving that other thing outside will probably do that, that appears to be the next thing to do anyway.

Hello Z10, it's a nice privilege to have one of the developers weighing in with their opinions. Could you please answer a couple of quick questions of mine, since I don't want to derail the playthrough too much.

1. The majority of the game has the standard 16:9 aspect ratio for most scenes. There are exceptions such as the square-shaped black & white painting with the traffic crossing. That image has black sidebars to maintain a 4:3 aspect ratio like in older games and TV shows. I love this! But, I need to know if this was an intentional design decision? Or was it a coincidence from having multiple artists working on the project at once?

2. Was the game written in German before being translated into English? Or was it originally written in English first?

Thank you in advance for answering these!  Smile

I am currently at the same stage as ClusterLizard, and unfortunately in that section of the game you can't brute-force this specific puzzle, so I definitely require hints.  Confused

I think you need to be more specific about exactly what you're doing and which puzzle you're referring to. Wink
