October is coming and I need some spooky adventure game suggestions that I haven't played yet. I have probably played the most well known ones but hey maybe I haven't gotten to it yet. Please post a game and I will let you know if I have played it.

We just released a podcast where Jack and I gave our top 5 scary games of the 2020's. It's at the end.

My suggestion for recent scary adventure games are STasis: Bone Totem and The Drifter.

I will recommend Anchorhead until the day I die.

If there's ever a time to play 1996's Harvester, it's spooky season. Not that I would really recommend anyone to play it, but if you must, well, it's there.

But for me, it's gotta be Elvira, thanks to her two really memorable... video games. I don't know if they still have the same effect if you encounter them for the first time in 2025, but I played them in my early teens and the creepy and gruesome horror visuals left a lasting impression. Good stuff!

I would say Scratches, but you can't buy it anymore. I'm also slightly biased as i'm a mod in their discord

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

If you want some good comedy with your spooky, then The Darkside Detective games.

These would have been my first and second choices Smile

I haven't played anything else that comes close in terms of spookiness. The Ben Jordan Paranormal Investigator games are worth playing, especially The Horror at Number 50, which is mildly spooky.
