I just finished playing this. One of those bizarre 'so bad it's good' games that makes you wonder if the developers are real human beings who have experienced life as a human, or aliens who are trying to replicate the experience of human existence so that they can capitalize on Earth's point & click adventure game market. The way people speak and behave are almost utter nonsense. The main character has none. (Character, that is.) But the game works --it's not perfect but it's definitely not broken-- and is actually on par and often better than some of the games it most reminds me of, like Secret Files and Lost Horizon. Unfortunately, just like Secret Files, rampant tone-deaf sexism exists, almost as if men and women of the same age can't have any interaction without shallow lewd subtext and ulterior motives. Or very pretext and motives. The voice acting makes "Jill, you are the master of unlocking" seem Oscar worthy.

Correct!
oh the anxiety. long time lurker on the AG forums, but it's my first post ever. I got overexcited when I recognized a game I really enjoyed a long time ago.
I'm obviously unprepared so if the image doesn't upload correctly or anything else goes wrong, please feel free to take my turn

Oh hey, a new contender! That's great, thanks for joining us.
@srnickolas: I think that's the other Alter Ego! The one I posted has one ending. Some found it abrupt, disappointing and maybe a little too bleak. I thought it was appropriately grim.
Since I'm replying here, might as well go for the new challenge: this is from The Charnel House Trilogy. Chapter 3 I think.
