Yep!  I don't think I ever used the computer in my first few playthroughs. An entire room is dedicated to it and it's only for optional points.

That's why I guessed Police Quest 2 --because I've never played that game, but I *have* played PQ1 (once, VGA version) and don't remember ever using a computer.
