I seem to remember a scene in Fahrenheit where the guy is being questioned in his office but he's seeing the bugs, I think? There are QTE's involved but doing them properly is actually a bad thing because then he gets arrested for acting all weird. So you have to intentionally fail them, then he sits through the interrogation stoically and the cops leave him be. I thought that was very strange...
I loved the Santa Monica track by Theory of a Deadman. And that sequence with the tempest...
And I never succeeded in NOT saving that kid in the ice. I'd start a new playthrough with the intention of letting it happen, but I can't help myself, I save him every time... So I still don't know what happens if you don't...
One of my favorite PS2 games, but indeed, things got too weird eventually...

Right now I'm revisiting Tales of Monkey Island. I don't have great memories of this entry (compared to the rest of the series) and I want to see if it's time to give it a second chance or confirm the opinion I had when I played it years ago.
A recent adventure I've played and highly recommend is the Spanish game "The Dark Rites of Arkham", by Postmodern Adventures. I think it's the best game they've released so far.

Hey all how are you doing? I've been running with work lately, but I did manage to play some games to unwound a bit. At last I started playing the Sam and Max 101 episodes and they are pretty fun and witty, I've finished the first 2 episodes.
Also I finished "The Son of Art" a first person adventure by cotton games. A surreal collection of four games each exploring 4 painters: Picasso, Malevich, Magritte and Mondrian. It was interesting with a nice collection of puzzles and tried to explore the mind and style of each painter if you like this sort of thing.
Another game I finally played and finished was Mechanic 8230, think a collection of stand alone stages in Gobliiins style but in a sci-fi world. It was a small interesting introductory game for a greater saga, like a first episode. I hope the creator continues it was pretty fun
Lastly I played a weird game called Arijigoku. It's like a 25 minute third person point and click adventure that costs a dollar on steam. It was a weird experience and rough around the edges, I would call it experimental, symbolic and psychological.
Anyway, I love hearing what are you all playing, I discovered a lot of games in the past in this thread. Cheers!

Hey you all, seems like a desert in here. Why not post your experienses? I just finished the new paranormasight game "The Mermaid's curse" and it was really good. Especially if you want to get the secret ending it has a good amount of meta puzzles that are really satisfying. It is a hybrid of a Visual novel and an adventure like the previous one. I really loved these characters
I recently started The Interactive Adventures of Dog Mendonça & Pizzaboy. It's based on a comic book series about supernatural detectives, which until starting this game I'd never heard of before. I'm not too far into it but I like what I've played so far.

Oh yeah I remember this title, it's a nice short game. By the way I love your avatar, Franziska is such a memorable character, a bit underutilized in my opinion in Ace Attorney games.
I just started playing Impossible Crimes Unit, which seems to be a well designed investigative procedural.
I've been playing Pepper Odyssey by Wavey Games, an RPG. It has a cool mechanic and I love the style and the writing, but it's all little grindy.
Gobliiins, for the playthrough. It's wacky. I'm pretty sure it's the first time I'm hearing voice acting - I think I played some bootleg cd-rom version of the floppy disc release as a kid.

I finished Impossible Crimes Unit too today. Freeware games sometimes offer the nicest surprises. It is a cool game, it ends a bit abruptly but showcases skill and passion by the creator. I also played through Midnight Scnes "Among Graves" and it featured really impressive pixel art. Lots of spooky scenes without any puzzles, just a story told through multible points of view. I enjoyed it and the lenght was just right. I don't know what to play next but lots of stuff are coming out this month, i must clear my backlog a bit!
