It kind of looks like Riven, but with a higher resolution.

So, is it a remake of Riven? (I've never played it.)

That's the game, Joe! I'm playing it now and really enjoying it. It's enough different from the original, which I've played several times over the years, to keep me guessing as to what comes next, but with most of the familiar things in place. It took me a bit of time to get used to using both the arrow keys and mouse, but I'm fortunate that I don't get motion sickness like some people do.

I suffer from pretty severe motion sickness, so I probably won't play the remake.
I've also heard that it's easier than the original game.
