Hey everyone! I've spent way too much time in the recent weeks to turn "Day Of The Tentacle" into a 3D Animated movie trailer- pixar style!

I am super excited about it, would love it if you share it around. This required insane amounts of work to get the environments, characters and objects exactly right. Spent a couple weeks on this.

Do let me know how you think it turned out Smile cheers, Felix

AI or not?

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

Of course I used a video model to create the scenes. Workflow is basically: recreate every environment as still image in the proper style first (often times takes an hour of adjustments to get it right) then do the same for characters and objects, then using those once they are spot-on to actually create video snippets of about 5 seconds, adjusting the scripts for those again usually 3-5 times until the action comes out as intended, and then finally adding all together in editing software. Overall I averaged about 10 seconds of video per day on this.
Not much different than an art director would do with their employees.
Without a video model this would take hundreds of thousands of dollars and a large studio.

I don't think you're going to get a lot of enthusiasm for that here, vs if it had been handmade.

No comment, not even going to look. Well, one comment, intellectual property theft is bad, m’kay?
