I figure the 4 has to do with the next level being the board after 4.  It's part of that image, from another perspective.

OK, I must admit that I spent a lot of time on this one, searching for clues from many angles.
I looked at band members, concerts and songs.

In the end, while googling for some leads, I incidentally stumbled upon the answer and spoiled the level for myself.
So, Notpron, I guess you beat me with this level, well done.

That said, I vaguely remember that the last time I've played, I couldn't pass this level on my own either.

I've never played the game before, but somehow I had the same sensation. Weird.

Seeing that 'chansons/simples' doesn't work, I surmise that this is a difficult level.

On one hand we have a Matrix reference 'neo/beenthere', on the other hand we have the same album/remote control as on level 5 and a phrase 'he knew the feeling...', both seem to be hinting at the repetition of something.

The album/songs/musicians are probably irrelevant (too much vagueness), which means that Google search bar is mostly for translation to French.

This one isn't too complicated, but I really like it.

Yep, this one was fun.
At first, I thought it was about a phone keypad, but the clue quickly pointed me in the right direction.

Got stuck on this puzzle for a while because I thought it was about 'sticking' keyboard keys, you know, when you press 'q' and get 'qqq'. Another bad case of overthinking.
