I have played 3 of the 4 games that they currently have released (Supermassive Games) and thought that they were pretty interesting. I have never really heard anyone talking about these games, so I was curious to see if any adventure game fans have dabbled in any of their releases? My wife and I played Man of Medan, House of Ashes, and The Devil in Me, and I thought that they were decent. Pretty short games overall, but there is a bit of replay value added if you are into acquiring the achievements, as some of them require you to play the games again and make different choices in order to see the different outcomes. I know that these may not be "classic" adventure games, as a lot of them don't really require a lot of heavy problem solving or items, etc. but they make for a fun Sunday afternoon.

Love them...most of them. It's cool trying to see who you can keep alive or get them killed.
Until Dawn was their first big hit. The Quarry is also pretty decent.
There is a fair bit of action or QTE's in them, but there are help settings to make them easier.

An adventure game is nothing more than a good story set with engaging puzzles that fit seamlessly in with the story and the characters, and looks and sounds beautiful.

True, I can see how the QTEs could turn some people off. I don't *personally* mind them, as I've played a lot of Yakuza
It's nice to know that they can be turned off, though. I always have such a problem committing to decisions in these types of games. I always feel obligated to be "the good guy." I still seem to have problems keeping everyone alive, though, despite my good intentions.
I forgot about The Quarry, I wanted to grab that while it was on sale. Need to add it to my list.

I adore The Quarry. Also played Man of Medan, which I was less impressed by, as I felt my decisions had more random results.
Just going to say this now: I LOVE QTEs!. I suck at actual action games. I played Last of Us on easy mode, and while I won it, I was a wreck the entire time and died a lot. QTEs can give me the thrill of an action game without making me be good at them.

It seems to be highly recommended. I'll keep my eyes open for a cheap copy next weekend at the gaming expo. If I see one, I'll scoop it up.

Man of Medan was just okay. I think House of Ashes was my favorite one (but, I haven't played Little Hope yet.)
I *do* enjoy QTEs, as long as I'm playing on Xbox. I got away from PlayStation and Nintendo for so long that I can't remember where the triangle-circle-X-square or the X-A-Y-B buttons are fast enough and I panic when the time comes! lol
I know what you mean about the randomness. I much more prefer when it's obvious that your actions make a difference in the outcome of the game.
