Good question! My answers would change depending on what time of day you asked me.
Recent: I've not really played enough from the past few years to give a good answer. It's probably between Call of the Sea and Immortality.
Older: Portal 2
Childhood: TIE Fighter

Childhood: Candyland and Monopoly board games (We got a black & white tv when I was in kindergarten.)
Older: Starship Titanic, my first computer game
Recent: Machinarium (I have a lot of catching up to do as I wend my way through so many I missed.)

This one's kinda difficult, especially for the "recent" one. But I think this is probably it, if I had to choose:
Childhood: King's Field (KF2 Japan)
Older: Baldur's Gate 2
Recent: Resident Evil 2 Remake

Another of the few games I had on my lime green iMac! The others were Deus Ex and Heroes of Might and Magic 3, and really any of them could have occupied the 'older' slot on my list but were not quite as amazing at the time as Shenmue, though.
