I think the captcha for registration needs to be changed so that it is more difficult for bots than just an image with letters. I'm not very familiar with this forum software, but perhaps you could set up a blacklist that automatically deletes posts with links to Temu, AliExpress, etc. I would also add a URL shortener to that so that the blacklist cannot be circumvented.

PRIM is a darkly beautiful point-and-click adventure full of black humor. When her mother dies, Prim learns that she is the daughter of the Grim Reaper and must now live with her strict father. But she soon breaks his rules—with fatal consequences! Will you help her outwit death?

A great game with annoying elements and a first-class soundtrack that rock ‘n’ rollers in particular should buy.
The puzzles are super easy, which makes it a good game for older children who can handle dark sarcasm – and Prim has plenty of that. To make matters worse, there is also a hotspot indicator and a hint system that (mostly rightly) laughs at you.
Two mini-games were annoying: one was a kind of chess that you can make easier for yourself, and the other was a card game in which you have to defeat four opponents over and over again to get stronger cards. The latter is a real test of resilience because a) it takes so long and b) it's exhausting to hear the same comments from the referee over and over again.
The German version has excellent voice acting, and the puns are all spot on.
Conclusion
A nice game to play in between other things, with a length of 9 hours. Knowledge of Greek mythology helps to understand all the references.

DOSBox Pure is a new fork of DOSBox that focuses on being super easy to configure and run.
The thing that really caught my eye, though, was the "experimental Windows 95/98 support." The PC era between roughly 1995-2005 (an era I like to call "the Dark Ages") is full of games that are notoriously difficult to run on modern PCs without resorting to esoteric shit like Virtual Machines — and even then it's a bitch to set up and get running. It's a steep uphill curve for casual gamers who just want to go back and re-experience the games they loved.
This might be the gamechanger we were all looking for.

Anybody else here play an instrument? Or earn a living from music? Or just a big music fan in general?
I play piano and guitar, and can just about find my way around a drum kit. I went to a music academy and then spent many years gigging with a few bands (rock, pop, alternative, indie), but got very tired of live music and these days focus more on teaching. Recently I've been dabbling with music production and trying to learn a bit more about composing, something which I've kind of avoided most of my life! I love transcribing songs, analysing them and taking them apart.
Wish I could sing

I have played 3 of the 4 games that they currently have released (Supermassive Games) and thought that they were pretty interesting. I have never really heard anyone talking about these games, so I was curious to see if any adventure game fans have dabbled in any of their releases? My wife and I played Man of Medan, House of Ashes, and The Devil in Me, and I thought that they were decent. Pretty short games overall, but there is a bit of replay value added if you are into acquiring the achievements, as some of them require you to play the games again and make different choices in order to see the different outcomes. I know that these may not be "classic" adventure games, as a lot of them don't really require a lot of heavy problem solving or items, etc. but they make for a fun Sunday afternoon.

I'm just wondering, what's everyone's preferred platform to play adventure games on?
With platform I mean PC (with keyboard and mouse) or console (with controller) or any other combination
I prefer console because then I can sit back and relax on my couch.
For example I played the Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle remasters on PlayStation.

Now that we have finished the Blackwell Legacy CPT, and I don't think the next one is coming out this month, I would like to hold a vote on what we should play next.
I think hard games would be great, especially. People would try to finish the game by sharing ideas and helping each other out rather than looking for a walkthrough online. It would be a combined community effort to beat the game.
This would allow newcomers to try more challenging games without getting frustrated or having to rely on walkthroughs for the entire game.
I can lead the IMAGinE, which is a free game that you can download or play in your browser. It's a good game, but not especially well known. highlighting it wouldn't hurt. It's a hard (but fair) game.
But it doesn't have much of a story. You are trapped in a series of paintings and need to manipulate and interact with them to escape. So it would be difficult to create a CPT in the style of what MenhirMike made with Blackwell Legacy without it purely being a walkthrough.
The CPT experience would be us talking about the art of the paintings and giving hints to people who are stuck.
Would you be interested in this? Or do you have another specific game in mind?

Would it be possible to add a sub-item called “Reviews” to “Adventure Games” in order to collect them?
