Well dang, this time I like both of them much more than most of the entries so far. Too bad they have to compete!
SQ6 I find much, much prettier than SQ4. Even though I’m still critical of the whole «Roger Wilco» branding thing, it actually looks kind of cool here. The colours are nice, and the whole image sort of comes alive. They also «borrowed» the font from Star Trek: The Motion Picture…
QFG1 is more of an artistic statement, with the «flat» image, the stained glass and the symmetry. Even so, the colours are kind of ugly.
No dang it, I’ll have to go with SQ6.

I like them both, too, but Quest for Glory I appeals to me just a bit more, so it gets my vote.

No such thing as late to the party.... And your profile pics reminds me we should get a LucasArts tournament going after this one, maybe a 16 brackets would be enough for their catalogue?
I never liked the facial expression on the Space Quest boxart. I'd be a little more emotional in that situation, and I think it would be funnier if the expression were more desperate. But i guess its another day on the job...
As for Quest for Glory its fine. Its eye-catching, it sells itself well.
Voting for Quest for Glory.

Hot take coming from a dude who calls himself the Space Quest Historian, but I've never liked the covers of SQ4 or SQ6. SQ4 especially, because it doesn't tell you anything about the game; in fact, it's outright deceiving. And the perspective is weird. Similarly, SQ6 chose to depict a scene from the game that's literally over in less than a minute, and the shadow of Sharpei's head looks really weird.
SQ1 and SQ2 had really simple but rad covers (the real-life sculpture of the Space Quest logo is still awesome) and SQ3 probably had the best cover of all the games.
Anyway, I still vote for SQ6 because I hate the brick wall that takes up half the box cover on QFG1. It just looks like someone ran out of time painting the rest of the cover.
