A tough one as I think they're both pretty good. SQ6 just edges it for me, because I'm a sucker for space artwork.

Neither of these are bad, and I don't really have any strong opinions on either. But I personally think the QfG is the more visually pleasing and interesting of the two, very interesting to make it a stained glass window!

Definitely could've done with more window, less wall, but QFG's stained glass look has this one hands down. I like the dragon licking its chops.

I’m voting for Space Quest 6.

Deciding was more difficult than usual because this round featured two equally wonderful covers. Humour is effectively used in both covers to make them more approachable to newcomers.

The spaceship about to blast off with Roger getting caught awkwardly by the oxygen hoses, whilst holding onto the humble 20th century staple of a squeegee; which somehow has not been superseded with something better in the future... hey, sometimes you have to sacrifice logical world-building for the sake of humour.

The Quest for Glory hero with his mouth agape, staring completely stunned at his sword being rendered useless, also expresses humour in a direct fashion.

Beautifully designed fonts and colours are used in both headers, I especially like the slanted angle of the Roger Wilco title.

What tipped it over the edge for me choosing Space Quest 6 was the captivating space backdrop and ominousness face morphed into the scene. A richly-detailed background will always win me over.

Hmm, kind of a tough one because they're both kinda good and kinda shitty at the same time. Longbow looks good from a distance but the cover is somehow too busy, and the actual title of the game is not even the focus (perhaps understandably). Meanwhile, I don't particularly like the art style of the Larry 7 cover, but at least it's clean and tells you exactly what the game is about at first glance.

My vote goes to Larry 7.

Larry 7 for me as well.

Do not really like any of them but Longbows color palette is pretty dull and composition looks a bit crowded and generic design. Larry 7 looks more dynamic, tell the story better but still too figurative for my liking. Whoever wins this match is a prime candidate to get swept in the next round lmao!
