For me, it's Camelot.
It's perhaps a little generic, but it's still solid art.
GK gets points for originality, but it mostly ends up being gimmicky.

I vote for Conquests of Camelot.

Life: Adventures guaranteed.  Instructions not included.

Gabriel Knight delights or pisses off collectors, I dont know which but I'm sure it generates strong opinions. Anyway the art is also more striking, although both are generic.

Voting Gabriel Knight.

You’d think politics is a topic that heats up discussions...PC game boxes: hold my beer. people are LIVID about the GK box, lol.

Aaaand Camelot wins 7-6.

Next match is interesting, the first graphic adventure video game ever against the first story-telling screen saver.

It's the Mystery House cover for me.

Mystery House. I still don’t like garish cover art.

Mystery House!

Johnny's no Herman Toothrot. And 'tis the season to be spooky.

Both of those are decent, and both get across the tones of the games very effectively. I like both, but I'll vote for the good spookiness of Mystery House.
