I'm voting for King's Quest V.
This is a rare instance for Sierra games where having a border around the painting actually enhances the overall box art. The shimmering crystalline ice shards used for framing are eye-catching in their own right and complement the inner scene nicely.
The central artwork is absolutely gorgeous. My favourite part is definitely the exquisite hues of blue and peach colours used for the sky. The sunset beaming down with its warm tones onto the winding pathway envelops it in an ethereal style, blurring the lines of reality and beautifully melding the backdrop together.
An appreciative acknowledgment of all the smaller elements including: Graham's determined standing position, the detailed ripples on the flowing red cape, the ominous wolf prowling behind, the pointy spires of the building structure and the footsteps fading into the snow.
Briefly regarding my opinions on Hero's Quest. Orange is the colour I personally dislike the most, and it unfortunately dominates the core image. The sandstone border is okay. The monster has very short arms, which I didn't spot straight away. Dorky hero humour is its best selling point.

King's Quest V. Everything that didn't work about the KQ6 box works beautifully here.
King's Quest V gets my vote, too.
