Regardless of butt placement, both are good!

Freddy's cover captures the game's comedic tone - and that carved wood outer frame looks incredible.
The Colonel's minimalism captures the mood of a murder mystery and shadowy malice.

I can't get over mister Pharkas's framing - it's phenomenal. I'm voting Fred.

I like both covers but The Colonels's Bequest more so that's my choice.

The Colonel's Bequest is my vote. Both covers are good, but the elegant minimalism of TCB wins it for me.

I vote Colonel's Bequest, BIG FAN of characters that are just gazing or watching rather than performing an action....

Action anchors the emotion to that specific activity. A subject who is merely watching, with a neutral or complex expression, becomes a blank canvas for the viewer's own emotions and thoughts. Much like pixel art lets your mind fill the gaps....

Which reminds me why I LOVE the eye in the intro of the original BLADE RUNNER so much.

I don't feel like writing a lot today, but no matter how you feel about having Freddie Pharkas' posterier right in your face, it's a technically pretty good piece of art.

That said, I'm easily voting The Colonel's Bequest for this one. It's one of the best we've seen thus far!

I am enjoying this game. I cannot participate in the screenshots game, since there are too many adventures I haven't played.
But here everyone can participate any time even without having played everything. Smile

Again, I am instantly bedazzled by the cover on the right. The silhouette looks dramatic and caught my eyes. I like the reduced colors.

The Freddy Pharkas cover has awesome details in the frame. The setting seems very clear. The composition is focused and makes sense to me.
The Rx in Pharmacist confuses me and I don't really like it. Surely it makes sense, but not having played the game, I don't know what it means.

I think they are both cool covers in their individual way. I don't like the typography of the "Roberta Williams" text. While the red text is some kind of balance for the title, it feels too huge to me. There are many involved in developing a game, right ... not just one person. Yes, I am not just judging the graphics, but also being biased/opinionated about the content I see.

Thinking about it ... if I had to choose one of these two games to play, I would select Colonel's Bequest just based on the cover. I don't want to kill sheep.
So I vote for this one.

Rx is a pharmacy thing. I don’t know what the origin is, but now it’s used to mean a doctor’s prescription or a place to have that prescription filled.

Ooh, thank you for clarifying that! Never heard about this, there even is a wikipedia article about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medical_prescription

Okay, now I am less annoyed about that detail. I was just annoyed typographically. Big Grin
