Looks like Flake: Legend of Snowblind.

I stopped when I heard the game was part 1 of X, and who knew if/when the sequels would come out.

This game also has a cliffhanger ending, and it caught me unawares. Other than that, it's one on of my favorite games. And the sequel *is* in the works.

Here's an obscure good-for-nothing clue: This game's creator and the band from whom the above quote is taken are both from the same state, although the game creator no longer lives there and the band has been largely inactive since 2017.

The big winner here is not the game guesser, but the one who saw The Dillinger Escape Plan (from the state of NJ) twice.

I haven't finished The Phantom Fellows yet, only played for an hour or two but the car was a giveaway. I should pick it up again.
