I honestly can’t think of anything that I’m excited for. I already read the latest Pendergast novel by Preston & Child. I’m sort of looking forward to season 2 of Alex Cross.
Baaaah. Entertainment is no longer entertaining.
Ohhh: Forgot about The Odyssey. Majorly looking forward to that.

I think I've spent most of my life not looking forward to things like that. I tend to look forward to breakfast - any further than that is just too abstract Big Grin

Big Grin

Now I'm curious about your breakfast!

Well... homemade bread and homemade butter, coffee (from a French press) - nothing special actually, just keeps me going! Maybe if someone made a show about breakfast I could look forward to that.

OK, I did actually think of something on topic that I might have a small amount of looking-forward-to-ness for: Project Hail Mary. I read the book a few years ago and whilst it didn't amaze me like The Martian had, it was pretty interesting and I'm certainly curious to see what they come up with (and if they stick as closely to the book as they did with The Martian)!

I was looking forward to getting my taxes done, which I accomplished today. Now I'm looking forward to my refund. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to watching some Olympic figure skating tonight.

Joshua, you should take another pass through your streaming service(s). There are so many good shows that fly under the (my) radar just because the blurbs are poorly written and the cover art looks the same as all the rest of ‘em. I have taken to just starting up the marginal-looking ones, and a surprising number of them turn out to be pretty good.

I am looking forward to the next season of The Witcher, although I do not like that they changed the lead actor from my personal Adonis to some other dude named Liam Neeson.
