Ha, you can get hurt in the first screen simply by making Ignatius try to open the door to the wizard's house.
There is a nasty biting worm in one of the apples and an instant game over if you knock down other one in the second screen.
And onwards to the third screen, which is the first screen but now we have a diamond. Code: ICIGCAA.

@kamineko: Good catch!
Everyone else, playing or just watching: welcome!
I think the great appeal of the first Gobliiins trilogy (-i for each installment) is the Coktel Vision of it all. The moon logic just hits different. The mechanic of three characters with particular abilities is a great setup for puzzles. The puzzle design itself seems a bit loopy at times. I'm curious whether our players like it and see any method in the madness.
Do you call these lil' fellas by their fancy French names, do you go with Bobo, Hooter and Dwayne (by the dawn's early light), or did you name them something entirely different, shouting at the screen?

When I played this game some thirty years ago, I only had what today is referred to as the EU release of the game, so it was Oups, Ignatius and Asgard for me. For a long time I didn't even know their names have been changed in the US release.
On a side note, now that internet allows us to take a look at manuals for all the releases, it's funny to see how the same story is written in "different versions of English".
EU release:
CATASTROPHE! King Angoulafre has suddenly become as mad as a March hare! How can he be cured? You have to go and seek out the irritable but talented wizard Niak, only him might be able to find a remedy for this mysterious illness, which has left the court doctors scratching their heads in confusion.
Oups, Ignatius and Asgard, three inseparable, daring and humorous goblins prepare to set off in search of the miracle cure.
UK release:
Three mischievous goblins have to set out on a journey to search for a remedy for their King Angoulafre's illness: he's gone raving mad! The only person who may be able to help him is the clever but cantankerous wizard Niak, and it's your job to guide them on their journey to find him.
Oups, Ignatius and Asgard, three inseparable, daring and humorous goblins prepare to set off in search of the miracle cure.
US release:
The king has gone off the deep end.
Somewhere out there is a voodoo doll with his name on it, and the king keeps getting the point.
How can he regain his sanity? There is only one person who can possibly help - NIAK, a talented but testy wizard. If he can be found, he's bound to have a cure for this mysterious illness which baffles the court medics.
Hooter, Dwayne and BoBo, the three inseparable, courageous and fun-loving Gobliiins, set out to procure this miraculous medicine.
It's a pity there was no Australian release of the game.

But there is:
Three cheeky little gobs have gotta head off on a proper mission to find a cure for their guvna King Angoulafre, ’cause the poor bloke’s gone completely mental!
The only fella who might be able to sort him out is Niak, a bloody old wizard, that can be a little twat sometimes. it’s your job to steer the lads through their wild adventure to track him down.
Oups, Ignatius and Asgard, three feisty, gutsy mates are getting ready to hit the road in search of the miracle cure.

It does look like someone likes to punch apples

This screen is the first time we have been punished for having bad luck.
As far as I know, it is impossible to know which pot is the correct one without prior knowledge.
At least the items are labeled, e.g. "big apple 2", "pot 1", so you would remember next time.
Speaking of the wizard house scene, I expected something funny would happen if I feed enough bees to the plant, but oh well.
Trying to fight the wizard was fun, and in my version of the game if you make Asgard do it, you don't incur damage for some reason.

We have our first cutscene! It has narration and step SFX. Very nice.

This is the most memorable screen for me. I spent a lot of time on this as a kid. I'm pretty sure I brute-forced it back then.
Now, it's not as hard as I remember it. Maybe I still remember parts of the solution. Or maybe I'm just not as smooth brained as I used to be.
Who knows?
There's a lot of walking on this screen. It would be great if you could control multiple goblins at the same time. Unfortunately, once you select a different goblin, the current one stops moving. Quite annoying.
Anyway. There's a mask on the floor. What are wacky uses for it?
