Most of the time, there is a black border around items and hotspots to help you find important elements.

Once again, on the current screen, we have two things that look exactly the same. One is crucial to solving the puzzle, while the other is just a trap.

I've developed a pattern for every screen: solve the puzzle, restart, and do it again without losing health.

Well that was weird!

The next puzzle seems straight forward, compared to the previous screens.

So how much health you lost on this screen? Big Grin

The hits keep on coming - and keep taking 'em on the chin.

Surprisingly, very little.

So far the scene with the zombie was the most traumatic, died there too many times to count.

The puzzle in the current scene is relatively easy to solve, but for that all goblins would need to be in the right places to each do their thing in sequence.

I found this screen to be pretty easy.

I did lose some health with my initial strategy (which also had to with positioning). I don't mind the trail and error system in combination with losing health, since we get plenty.

So far, the whole game seems pretty straightforward. Other than cheap shots like the guessing game, I had no much trouble solving those screens.

That said, I remember playing this game before, and there are a lot more screens to go. So I may yet eat my words.

The betrayal!

After gathering all those ingredients, the evil wizard threw us into the dungeon. Spooky skeleton included

Ooo, is that a big, shiny red button? I wonder what will happen if I push it?

It feels like the complexity of the puzzles slowly grows, but so does our grasp of the game mechanics.

I played this game some thirty years ago, so I don't remember how much more difficult it gets either.

Yay for the big red button!

I've been wondering this for a while:

Are these fellows goblin, gnome or some other kind of humanoid? Did the developers use goblin/gnome as an approximate reference point? Is it a playful jab at their competence, appearance or social status?

Are these the same type of creatures as the ones in Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth?

I would say Woodruff has a wider range of creatures representing its inhabitants with some resembling those in the Goblins games. Its not canon I think with a loose  relation to the Goblin series do to the art of Pierre Gilhodes, but since I haven't completed Woodruff yet, I am not sure. We require a Goblinologist to properly answer your question
