So… who killed The Thread tm.
I leave you lot alone for two decades and look what happens. Tsk.

Hello!
Oldtime AG member here, I just registered to say hi @eirikmyhr @thequiff !
Happy to see you're doing well after all these years.
I've lost touch with everyone from those days, my MSN messenger won't work anymore
I'm glad this site exists.
Although my tastes in games have widened a bit, I still need my dose of adventure games now and then.
Hugs

Just found this particlar thread. Yes, I was an avid member and poster on the old AG forum. Was a member of Gameboomers before I switched to AG as the forum of choice. When AG died an unceremonious death I returned to GB to get in touch with other former AG members, and was directed to the currenct ExAGforumites forum by LadyKestrel. I've been a member there since shortly (two days) after its inception. Became a non-posting member here sometime last year. Started posting after I found my old friend Josh Mandel reliving his Sierra days. That's the long and short of my tour.
For whom the games toll ...
They toll for thee
I was Captain Blondebeard.
Glad to see your name and avatar around these parts rtrooney.

I was in the old AG forums in the early 00s! My username there was “Jake,” which I tried to use when signing up here but the AGH forum told me that username was associated with a know spammer
But I’m mostly here to say that Mixnmojo has revived a full archive of the old Adventure Gamers forum, thanks to Ivo Teel sending them a backup from before the new owners wiped the site.
You can browse the Adventure Gamers forum archive here: https://agforums.mojodb.com/
It currently only features the 2003-2012 forum archive (the vBulletin era), but the 2012-2025 archive is also being worked on.

Welcome, Jake! (I have no idea what happened with your user name, but I've manually changed it for you.)
Bravo to the fine folks at Mojo who helped pull this together. I'm sure that was a massive task.
At least some of AG's history has been preserved.
