Young thing!? Hah! You can try all the flattery you want Lady K but I'm not going to clean your album collection for you Rolleyes

(that's a sort of reference to a thread on the old AG forums in case anyone is wondering)

Congratz on the Forums evereyone. They seem very well-organised and, honestly, very pleasant to the eye! Smile

Excuse me for asking, what was your moniker back then?

I've just had a peek at The Adventure Game Scene....uh...Game from the AGers forum years ago via The Wayback Machine. There's a very early post in that thread from Captain Blondebeard?

Good luck with that Lady K. Probably not the right place for this but have you decided on the methodology yet? I know you far more vinyl than I do and it was a major exercise for me. Worth it though for the extra clarity in sound plus it does increase the album's value, even if, in the majority of cases, it's just by a small amount.

Glad to see this forum up and running! Now we devotees have another venue to yap about our favorite genre.

I'm sure someone has probably already mentioned this, but for any ex AG forumites on here you can also find us at https://exagforumites.freeforums.net/. And several of you have already migrated over here from there as well! This AGH forum platform may be a whole lot easier/more robust than that one, but that hasn't stopped a very involved community from evolving from the AGers morass!

For those of us old-timers who don't use other social media (much, if at all), these forums, ALL of them, are so welcome. Thanks for hosting this community, AGH!

Hey, Mike! I'm glad you made it over here!

Jabod,
I bought a cleaning kit for my records, but I doubt I'll go into it as deeply as you did.

You're finally HERE! LadyK told me you were up and running. I love a good old forum.
